Atlantic Puffin project

Acrylic painting  4 feet by 3 feet

This large painting was inspired by a visit to Ailsa Craig on the Firth of Clyde .The Atlantic Puffin disappeared on Ailsa Craig because of Rats . They make their nest underground in Burrows , hence the rats eating the young that were in their nests . The Rats were eradicated by the RSPB , the Puffins rteturned. The finished painting hangs in my studio . Really enjoyed doing a large a clifftop painting ,so many textures to paint.
